You Are Not Alone

In this time of practicing social distancing, supporting #StayAtHome and people having to self-quarantine it is easy for people begin to feel like they are alone. Empowering Youth Towards Excellence wants to let everyone to know that they are not alone. We are all in this together, for better or for worst.

Right now, EYTE would like to give a special shoutout to college students, especially the seniors, who are being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. We know that some college students are in distress trying to figure out how they are going to pack up all there stuff in their dorms and get home, some may be struggling to transition to remote online learning and that all college students have had their daily lives interrupted by this virus. EYTE wants college students to know that we are here for them and will try to provide any help that they may need. EYTE will continue to send out college care packages to out of state college students, despite our semi-annual College Care Package Drive being cancelled, and will continue to provide resources that will help local CUNY students. EYTE wants to continue to motivate and assist college students in their pursuit of a higher education.

EYTE is currently accepting donations to help continue support college students via our GoFundMe page. The donations go towards providing food and goods to put in our care packages to give to out of state students who were forced to return home sooner than expected and may need a few groceries. The donations also go towards VISA gift cards for CUNY students, so that they can purchase any groceries or products that they may need.

Remember that you are not alone. You are never alone. EYTE stands with you.
